Since 2020, it’s been excruciating and cumbersome because of the repercussions of the virus. A metamorphosis occurred, the global economy shattered, a part of the population got decimated, a lot of people were fired from their jobs and the whole world turned upside down.
Times are hard, but there’s always scope for betterment. It’s the hope that keeps us alive. The picture and a vision for a better tomorrow, for ourselves as well as the posterity. It’s normal to feel isolated and distressed at this point, but this shouldn’t be treated as a loophole. We need to heal, recover and come out stronger and better.

Here are some tips to cope with the pandemic and to reshape our life.
- DON’T FORGET THE ESSENTIALS
The essential list includes a hand sanitizer, wearing a mask, and carrying a disinfectant. Whenever you go out, make sure that don’t remove your mask. If you’re using public transportation, it’s always handy to spray a disinfectant on the seat before you sit.Prefer wearing an N95 or a KN95 mask. If you’re opting for a disposable mask, wear a cloth one on top of it. Don’t forget to dispose of the disposable mask after one-time use.
2. ALWAYS DO THIS AFTER YOU GET BACK HOME
After a tiring day at work or college, the moment you get back home, make sure to sanitize your hands. Wash your hands and legs thoroughly and freshen up. You don’t want to invite variants of the virus inside the home. Follow good hygiene and make it a habit.
3. SPEND TIME WITH YOUR LOVED ONES
In uncertain times, nothing is promised. Check up on your loved ones. Spend time with them. Remind them that you’re there for them. Spending time doesn’t necessarily mean a trip or hanging out outdoors, It could be as simple as playing some games with them or cooking for them.
- DO SOME SELF CARE
Get some me-time. Do some skincare, put on a face mask, relax, rejuvenate and listen to some great music. Watch your favorite show and cook yourself some yummy food. Lie down under the sheets and get some good sleep. Get power naps more often.
- CUT DOWN EXCESS JUNK
Outside food is often unhealthy and unhygienic. Switch to home-cooked meals and healthy meals for the win. Limit junk and fast food consumption and start maintaining a balanced diet. Get the right nutrients
and have wholesome and nutritious meals. Include fruits, nuts, vegetables, and all greens. Stay hydrated and drink an adequate amount of warm water. Start working out often and develop a fitness routine.
- CONSIDER THERAPY
The concept of mental health is underrated in our society. As much as we value a physical illness,we need to value mental health too. Seek therapy, vent your problems out and uplift yourself as comfort and inner serenity after therapy are assured.
- BUILD A NEW LIFESTYLE
It takes 21 days to build a habit and about 90 days to make it a part of your lifestyle. Stop slacking off. Get productive, utilize your time, read more books and give yourself some challenging tasks to accomplish during the day. Learn new skills, new habits and make wise choices.
- PRACTISE MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness means living in the present moment. Essentially, it means being more conscious, aware, and awake in each moment and being fully engaged in what is happening in one’s surroundings – with acceptance and without judgment.
