The first habit of destroying your skin is not wearing sunscreen when you’re going outdoors. Guys, I used to not wear sunscreen at all. I get 10 pretty quickly, actually have somewhat of a 10 right now. And I thought, man, I’m just gonna get a 10. You know, I’m not gonna put any sunscreen. Me, I’m fine. I’m good. I’m from a tropical area. I’m fine. Well, slowly but surely, I started getting Sun damage on my skin, and it’s visible. I could see it. I looked in the mirror, and I saw dark spots around, especially this area here and on my nose. And I thought, Why is this happening? What’s going on? Am I using the wrong products? It was Sun damage. You guys, a lot of those are permanent. A lot of those are still on my face. So if you’re going to be out in the Sun, make sure that you’re applying sunscreen, especially to your face to protect it. Not only is it going to protect you from sun damage in the Sunspots, but also from wrinkles. Who knows? If you’re outside for long enough and you don’t protect your skin, you might even get skin cancer. So please treat this as a serious thing like this can happen. So make sure that you’re taking care of your skin and applying sunscreen before you go outside. This one was our first skincare tip.

Sunglasses

This next tip for you guys, I don’t think I’ve ever talked about this, but this is something that I’ve done for a long time. Wearing Sunglass, not wearing sunglasses means that you’re squinting, right? When you’re outside, there’s a lot of lights, a lot of Sun, and you start to squint, and that literally gives you wrinkles. And sometimes if you’re outside a lot squinting a lot, they become permanent. So not only do sunglasses make you look better, more symmetrical, not only is it a cool accessory to add to your look, but they also protect your eyes and your skin. Make sure that you’re wearing sunglasses and not squinting when you’re outside because that will turn into a permanent rink. This one was our second skincare tip.

Wash your Face

The next habit that could really be destroying your skin is forgetting to wash your face at night. It’s a little bit gross, actually, if you think about it. You know, when you wipe your desk a lot of times at work or at home. And there’s a little bit of dust there from the day because it’s settled. So you go and you clean it. Imagine that on your face, but more because your face is actually more oily than your desk, I’m hoping. And that dust is gonna stick to your face, so you have to wash it off before you go to bed or when you lay down on your bed on your pillow. Right? and you’re gonna be rubbing your face. You’re gonna be rubbing all of those impurities, all that dust that stuck to your face during the day, rubbing that all over your face in your pillow for eight hours straight. When you’re sleeping, that is not good. So before you go to bed, make sure that you’re washing your face with a proper face wash. You know, you’re gonna get all of that dirt, all of the oils, all of the impurities that were attaching to your face during the day. You need to get those off your face before you go to bed. And a quick tip here as well. After you wash your face. After removing all of those oils, those natural oils sometimes are needed for your face. So make sure that you apply a good moisturizer to rehydrate your face before you go to bed. This one was our third skincare tip.

Junk Food

Next up, a habit that is for sure, destroying your skin without you even knowing it is eating the wrong types of food. Now, it’s annoying, because a lot of the things that I’m gonna mention here I’d like to eat and I eat sometimes is like, How can I not eat bread or chocolate? But let me give you a quick rundown of foods that we know for a fact or going to ruin your skin. Foods with high carbs if you’re eating that all the time. Bread, et cetera, dairy, soy, milk, ice cream, butter, yoghurt. Make sure that you’re not eating a lot of that because that will ruin your skin. Fast food as good as it tastes. Man, I know it’s not good for you. It’s not good for you, not only for your skin but also for your physique, you know? And Unfortunately, my favourite type of sweet is also on this list. Chocolate. If you’re eating a lot of these foods all the time. They will make your skin oilier, which means you’re gonna have more pimples, more acting, more breakouts. So making sure that you’re healthy is really going to improve your skin and making sure that you’re eating all the right foods will help you out as well. Now, obviously, that list is a little long, and there are more things that I left out, too. So don’t be one of those people that like, oh, I can’t eat anything because of my skin. Make sure that you’re eating healthy. Balanced. That’s the most important word here. Balanced diet. That is all you have to do. And make sure that you’re not going overboard with a pound of chocolate a day or a lot of bread or a lot of dairies. Right? Just make sure that it’s balanced and you’ll be okay. This one was our fourth skincare tip.

Touching your face very often.

Next up, stop touching your face all the time, especially nowadays. You shouldn’t be doing that anyway. With what’s happening, you shouldn’t be touching your face anyway, not only because of what’s happening outside, which is a little scary, but also because you’re gonna end up getting your face all dirty. I’ll give you a quick example, right? You’re in your car, you’re safe from whatever’s happening outside. You’re touching the steering wheel, or you pick your nose or you grab something, and when you touch the steering wheel again, and then you touch your face. That dirt that’s on your steering wheel, whatever it is that you got on there, some disgusting things are gonna go on your face and cause breakouts, so you have to make sure that you’re not doing that. Try to not touch your face as much as possible. Students, when you’re in school, you’re in class and you’re kind of bored. The first thing you do is this, right? Or this, or it’s just you start putting all of that dust from the desks and the tables and the materials and everything else that’s accumulating there is gonna go straight onto your face and definitely cause a break. But there’s one positive from what’s happening outside with the virus right now is that I definitely keep my hands way cleaner than they used to be. Not gonna lie. I didn’t use a lot of hand sanitiser before. I just washed my hands a couple of times a day, and that was it. But now I’m going above and beyond here to make sure that my hands are clean. But even then, I am trying my best not to touch my face anytime during the day, and I highly recommend you do the same.
